Things To Do

Arthur Park War Memorial

The park was first commemorated as a formal garden in 1946. Originally, brass plaques with the name of each Botany serviceman that had died were each embedded near a Lombardy Poplar. Over time, the plaques were moved to the central plinth to allow for better maintenance of the remaining poplars.
