Bangor Park is located between Rainbow Street and Oberon Street in Coogee. It is best accessed from Avoca Street or Arden Street.

Things To Do

Bangor Park Playground

Upgraded a few years ago, Bangor Park has a bright, active playground with soft touch flooring, ropes climb, slippery dips and swings. There’s also sun shades on part of the area and trees provide some shade as well. Looking for more playgrounds in the area? Try the link below:

Off Leash Dog Walking

Provided dogs are kept clear of the playground they are welcome to roam off leash. There’s dog tidy bags and bins in the park as well. It’s one of several off leash parks in the area, including Baker Park, Bardon Park near the Bowling Club and Burrows Park near Clovelly Beach.

Casual Ball Games, Frisbee Etc

Bangor Park slopes considerably, but there are some flat areas ideal for a casual kick around. Large mature trees provide plenty of shade and respite, just keep an eye out for dogs roaming the park as well.
