Barrenjoey Lighthouse History Tours

The current Lighthouse is made from unpainted local sandstone. Prior to its construction in 1881 two wooden towers at either end of the headland (known as the Stewart Towers) would guide ships into the Bay. From smugglers and customs operations to coal and food barges, Broken Bay has a rich history. Find out more at the guided tours that run at the lighthouse from 11:00am to 3:00pm every Sunday.
