Getting To Battersea Park, Abbotsford

Where Is It?

Battersea Park is located at the northern tip of Abbotsford, pressed against the Parramatta Ricer and close to the Abbotsford Ferry Wharf. It is accessible via Battersea Street off the Great North Road.

Buses & Ferries

The 438 and L38 both stop near the park, and the ferry terminal is right there as well

Bike Route

The Great North Road is bike friendly enough as are the backstreets around the park.


The best street address is Battersea Street, Abbotsford NSW 2046.


There is a small amount of parking near the ferry terminal a d street side parking nearby. Take into account the ferry is popular with commuters on workdays and can fill up during the 9-5.

Things To Do

Enjoy A Splendid Picnic By The River

With barbecues and covered tables meters from the water it doesn’t get more picturesque than this. On hot days, the raised terrace walkways had picnic tables with better shading if you can grab one. By evening watch the sun set over boats bobbing in the river and talk in another magnificent Sydney day.
