Congwong Beach La Perouse

A popular weekend spot right near the entrance to Botany Bay National Park, this flat beach is great for cooling off after a hike or just splashing around while you wait for the ice cream boat to come in. The headland and nearby Bare Island are popular diving shots as well.


Little Congwong Beach Sydney

Well known nudist beach that can be reached by boat or a short walk from Cann Park at the entrance to Botany Bay National Park. Cross through Congwong Beach and follow the trail for five minutes towards Little Congwong.

Less a beach than a low energy cove right out at the edge of Botany Bay National Park, it’s a great spot for snorkelling and diving observe the regulations as invertebrate species are protected in this area.


SS Minmi Shipwreck

Close to Cape Banks Aquatic Reserve, this isn’t a beach but it’s a great place to snorkel or scuba dive and see the remnants of the shipwrecked SS Minmi


 

Frenchmans Bay Beach

A popular beach and picnic spot in the summer with a great park adjacent to the sand and plrnty of cafes and takeaways nearby.


Yarra Bay Foreshore Beaches Philip Bay Sydney

Yarra Bay Foreshore Beaches

Address: Yarra Rd, Phillip Bay NSW 2036
Located near Yarra Bay Sailing Club and Bicentennial Park, these beaches have a unique aspect of the port. Popular for a splash around, getting the boat in via the sailing club or for a bit of fishing around the rocks and the groyne.


Botany Foreshore Beach Dog Friendly Botany Bay Sydney

Botany Foreshore Beach

Swimming is not recommended in this beach due to pollution, but it is a dog friendly beach with a boat ramp and the unique backdrop of planes taking off from the nearby airport. Also has a state of the art fish cleaning facility
