Getting to Camperdown Park

Camperdown Park is located south of Parramatta Road and north of Sailsbury Road. Australia Avenue borders the western end of the park, while the Mallet Street Campus of USYD is on the eastern side.

| Parking

There is limited street side parking around the park. Due to the popularity of the area, you may need to hunt around. Try Gibbons Street for untimed parking and easy access to the park.


Outdoor Fitness Gym

New fitness equipment located on the western side of the park behind the grandstand including chin ups, leg machines and chest press.

Basketball Courts

Located between the playground and the tennis courts, Camperdown park basketball courts are in good nick and free to use.

Shaded Benches

Grab a coffee or bring your own an take advantage of the shade offered by the staggering figs at the south end of the park.


There is a nice playground with slides, swings and forts.

    There are rubbish bins scattered around the park, particularly near the grandstand at the eastern end of the field.

    Entrance to the toilets are at either end of the grandstand.

    Dogs are welcome in Camperdown park provided they are kept on leash and away from the children’s playground and fitness area.
