Things To Do

Practice Your Forehand At The Tennis (And Handball) Courts

Oohen Park features two floodlit, modern synthetic hardcourts with full set of amenities. They’re available between 7am and 9pm and can be booked through Leichhardt Council on 9555 8344. The original handball walls are still there as well, and make a nice spot to warm up while you’re waiting for your doubles partner to show.

Let The Kids Loose On The Playground

North of the tennis courts and cricket pitch, the playground is packed with just about every bit of play equipment you can imagine, from swings and slides to rope climbs and forts. There’s also shades to keep the sun off.

Cricket Pitch / Soccer

The park space isn’t large enough for a full sized game of cricket but is used for training and junior games. In the winter, the field is often used for soccer matches.

Whites Creek runs the length of the park.

Bone Boilers Walk

The bush lined walkway on the west side of Whites Creek is called Bone Boilers Walk and extends south through Whites Creek Valley Park.
