Discovery Park is a wedge of parkland located opposite Cahill Park on the Cooks River and Princes Highway. It boasts play facilities, barbeques, and heritage buildings available for hire.

Getting to Discovery Park, Wolli Creek

Where Is It?

Discovery Park is located on the southside of the Cooks River right before the bridge, at Discovery Point. Cahill Park is on the opposide side of the highway, Kendrick Park is on the opposite side of the river, and there is a Woolworths and Dan Murphys as you approach to the south. It is also very close to Wolli Creek Station.

There’s no parking on the Princes Highway so you should try turning on Brodie Sparks Drive and look for parking around there. If you are just dropping someone off, there is a small area out the front of the park, but you can’t park there long term.
