Where Is It?

Double Bay Beach is located along the Foreshore of Double Bay, next to the ferry wharf and Steyne Park. It can be accessed from Ocean Avenue, Bay Street and Beach Street in Double Bay. Ocean Avenue and Bay Street both connect to New South Head Road.


The 323, 324, 325, 326, 327 all stop on New South Head Road


The Double Bay Ferry Wharf is right next to the beach and only a short trip from the city.

There is limited on street parking on Beach Street, and around Steyne Park. Double Bay is a popular shopping district so expect most listing to be metered.

Wade out into the blue harbour or just wet your along the shore line. Double Bay Beach enjoys a private aspect with enough sand to lay a towel down and a pleasant foreshore walk with a scattering of bench seats if you don’t want to get sand in your socks.
