Dunningham Reserve looks out over the ocean, connecting Gordon’s Bay to Coogee Beach via the Coastal Walk, with spectactular views and access to Giles Baths.

Getting to Dunningham Reserve

Dunningham Reserve is located north of Coogee Beach along the Coastal Walk, south of Gordon’s bay. The nearest street addresses are Beach and Bream Street to the south, and Moore and Arcadia Streets to the north.

Parking

There are two parking bays on Dolphin Street, one either side of Arden Street. There is also limited street side parking around Beach and Bream streets

Attractions

Virgin Apparition

Numerous sightings claim to have seen an apparition of the Virgin Mary. The shrine is easy to find thanks to the numerous wreaths and offerings gathered there.

Bali Memorial

Within the ‘Baths’ portico a memorial names though who died in the bombings of 2002 in Bali, Indonesia.

Coastal Walk

The walk starts at Bondi in the north and hugs the coast all the way down to Little Bay. Notable sights include Waverely Cemetery north of Gordon’s Bay which hugs the cliff line.

    There are takeaways, cafes and bars at the bottom of Dunningham Reserve, as well as plenty of optiosn on Arden Street.

  • Alcohol

    Alcohol prohibited sunset to sunrise. Allowed responsibly during the day

  • Rubbish Bins

    Numerous rubbish and recylce bins are scattered along the path and down on the Coogee Beach Promenade.

  • Toilets

    Demountable toilets are aong the pathway. There are also toilets in Goldstein Reserve nearby.

  • Can I take my dog?

    Dogs are welcome in Dunningham Park provided they are kept on leash.
