Things To Do

A Fantastic Playground

It’s no surprise that the Evan Jones Playground is popular among the locals. Taking up almost half the park, you’ll find everything from slides and swings to fort climbs and rope courses.


Plus A Well Maintained Basketball Half Court

Practice your free throws or run and gun in a game of 2-on-2, the Evan Jones Basketball Half court is a great little spot to shoot some hoops on your own or with a couple of friends.


And A Handful Of Picnic Tables

When you’re done working up a sweat, relax at one of the nearby picnic tables, enjoy the shade and take in the latest street art along the mural wall on Whites Creek Lane. Wanders can also head north along the footpath that connects to Whites Creek Valley Park and the Bone Boilers Walk.

Whites Creek Valley Park

Idyllic, gently rolling park in set in a quiet inner west pocket of creeks, trees and birds. You’ll find a large playground, full sized basketball court, skate park and picnic areas at this excellent local reserve.


36th Battalion Park

Similar to Evan Jones Playground, 36th Battalion Park features a playground, dog walking areas and a combined basketball and netball halfcourt.
