Getting To Five Dock Park, Five Dock

Where Is It?

Five Dock Park is located in Five Dock Ingham Avenue and Howley Street with Park Road to the west and Barnstaple Road to the North. From Parramatta Road take Great Northern Road then turn right onto First Avenue. The park is just north of Donremy College and Timbrell Park is a little further south. There’s a bus stop right out the front on Ingham Street.


The nearest street address is Ingram Street, Five Dock, 2046


There is streetside parking on all four streets surrounding the park.

Things To Do

Playing Field & Grandstand

The playing field has AFL posts and a nice grandstand for watching local games. Drummoyne Power AFL play here as well as Five Dock RSL Junior Rugby League


There is a small playground on the western end of the park near Park Road with fort climb and slippery dip protected by sunshades. Unfortunately it doesn’t really compare to Livvi’s Place at nearby Timbrell Park, but it sure is a lot quieter.

Picnic Areas & Barbecues

There are several covered and shaded benches with barbecues in the gully section near the grandstand. There are bins nearby and there is also views of the playing field.

Five Dock Bowls Skatepark

A large skate park consisting of several bowls suitable for skateboards, scooters and BMX.

Basketball Half Court

Just down the hill from the skate park there is a small basketball court with a single ring. It’s in OK condition.

Tennis Courts

Tigers Bowling Club

Fancy a spot of lawn bowls? Tigers has you covered. There’s also a cafe and bistro if you’re hungry.

Five Dock Park War Memorial

Erected in 1923 the rotunda features a tablet inside with the names of those local to the area illuminated by light.


There are some well maintained gardens at the southern end of the park and set the tone for the park when entering from First Avenue.

    There are rubbish bins near the picnic areas

    Toilets are located near the grandstand and open most daylight hours.

  • Can I take my dog?

    Dogs are welcome in the park provided they are kept on leash. Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs and the doesn’t seem to be any dog bags available.

  • Can I Ride My Bike / Lock My Bike Up?

    Bike friendly along Ingham Street though there aren’t any bike lock ups on the park.
