Located between Sherbrooke Avenue and New South Head Road near William Street, Foster Park is a medium sized reserve between Steyne Park and Blackburn Gardens in Double Bay.

Buses

The 324,325 and 326 all stop here along New South Head Road.

Ferry

Foster Park is about 10 minutes walk from the Double Bay Ferry Wharf.

Things To Do


Playground & Preschool

The playground is located on the Sherbrooke Avenue side of the park. It’s fenced and sunshaded with slides, fort climbs swings and other fun stuff. The playground is open on weekends and after 3:45 on weekdays. Before that time, it’s there for the preschool. Foster Park Playground Double Bay Sydney

Local History Centre

Part of the Woollahra Library Service, the Local History Centre is staffed by historians who can assist with researching local history in the area, though detailed research man incur a cost. It’s a great place to check out and learn more about the area.
