Getting To Garnet Jackson Reserve, Botany

Where Is It?

Garnet Jackson Reserve is located between Victoria Street and Stephen Road in Botany. Take Stephen Road from the southern end of Botany Road or Banksia Street to William Street from further north on Botany Road. It is a short walk from Gaiarine Gardens in Pagewood.


The 310 bus and x310 stop at Swinbourne Street.

Picnic Areas & Barbecues

Garnet Jackson Reserve boasts covered picnic areas with barbecue facilities. These are located at the north end of the park near the playground and outdoor gym, making it a nice area for a casual gathering or family lunch.

Located near the outdoor gym and picnic area, the playground is shaded by nearby trees and features swings, fort, climbing challenge and slippery dip. Partially fenced (roadside). There’s a second playground featuring swings at the south and of the park, close to the other fitness station.

Outdoor Gyms

Located near the playgrounds and picnic area, there are two modern outdoor gyms with several machines and exercise stations including fixed bike, sit ups bench, balance station and pull ups.

Basketball Half Court

Located at the eastern side of the park this basketball half court has a single hoop and concrete flooring and is suitable for small pick up games. For a full sized court, check nearby Booralee Park.

Jogging / Walking / Cycling Path

Weaving through the outskirts of the park this flat path is a nice, easy walk that would also be suitable for young children on their bikes.
