Gordon’s Bay is set between Coogee and Clovelly Beaches along the Coastal Walk. Major Street in Coogee is the closest street.

Parking

During peak summer periods parking can be difficult. The closest parking area is Bundock Park next to Clovelly Beach. You can also find Streetside parking in the streets around Dunningham Park in Coogee.

Swimming

Gordon’s Bay is an unpatrolled. Though the beach is very calm, due to it being set deep within the bay, its primarily use as a boat shed and storage. The wealth of other options nearby mean its only really busy in peak summer.

Diving

A large diversity of marine life calls Gordon Bay home, including sea dragons, wobbegone and port Jackson sharks, weed dragons and blue groper. The Gordon’s Bay Underwater Nature Trail is a 500 meter scuba trek beneath the waves of Gordon Bay. It is preserved by the Gordon’s Bay Scuba Diving Club

Fishing

Fishing boats and charters launch from Gordon’s Bay, with good reef fishing at Clovelly Beach.

    Head south the Coogee where there are lots of cafes and takeaways on Arden Street or check out the Sea Salt Kiosk at Clovelly Beach to the north.

  • Rubbish Bins

    There are rubbish bins at regualar intervals along those Coastal Walk. Keep Gordon’s Bay beautiful and dispose of your rubbish thoughtfully.

  • Toilets

    Head south to Coogee Beach or north to Clovelly Beach for public toilets.

  • Can I take my dog?

    Dogs are allowed on leash along the Coastal Walk but not on the beach
