Just south of Coogee Beach, Grant Reserve is a large park with amenities for picnics and BBQs, hosts a large playground, and has access to Wylie Baths.

Getting to Grant Reserve

Grant Reserve is located between Beach and Neptune Streets in Coogee, just south of Coogee Beach. It is also accessible via the Coastal Walk.

There are parking bays on Neputune Street and limited streetside parking on Beach Street.


Picnic Area

Functioning BBQs and a smattering of shaded tables, along with views over the coast and access to a large playground area make Grant Reserve a nice spot for a picnic.

Wylie Baths

Access Wylie Baths from the south end of the reserve, with cafe facilities as well its a great place to take a dip or just while away the hours with a good book.

    • Food

There is a cafe at Wylie Baths and the Coogee Lifesaving Club is at the north end of the park. Otherwise Arden Street along the beach has lots of cafes and takeaways.

    • Barbecques

There are two BBQs at the southern end of the park along with tree shaded tables and benches.
To the north there is a dual BBQ cooktop near the playground and another single in the small pit area to one side.

    • Rubbish Bins

There are bins near the BBQ facilities at the south end of the park and near the playground at the north end.

    • Toilets

There are toilets just south of the playground along the Coastal Walk.

    • Can I take my dog?

Dogs are welcome but must be on a leash at all times and remain 10 metres from the playground. If you want off leash try Blenheim Park and Trenerry Reserve.

    • Can I lock my bike up

There are bike lockups at the southern end of the Coastal trail.
