Things To Do

Covered Picnic Area & Barbecues

There is a large covered picnic area with tables, benches and barbecues that can hold a hundred people at least, making it a great place for a family and friends bash or work event. Operates on a fires come first serve basis.

Gunnamatta Park Playground

There is a children’s playground has slippery dips, fort climbs and ropes courses. The area also has plenty of grassland to run around in and lots of shade too.

Gunnamatta Pavilion

There are toilets and changerooms at the pavilion

Flathead, bream, taylor and whiting can be found around the outside of the Gunnamatta Wharf Baths, beyond the nets, probably because the nets pick up lots of fish food. It’s a nice spot, especially if you get in early before the crowds pick up in the summer.

Gunnamatta Bay Wharf

Go For A Swim Off Gunnamatta Bay Wharf

Cool of with a swim in Gunnamatta Bay. Take advantage of the wharf with othe swimmers or just play around in the shallows with the kids, there’s usually a good crowd there throughout the summer.

Gunnamatta Park Auditorium

Hang Out At The Amphitheatre

It’s not too often you’ll catch a show at the Gunnamatta Park Ampitheatre, but it’s a pretty nice looking little feature and fun to hang out during the week with a good book when the park’s not to busy.
