Getting To Hoskins Park, Dulwich Hill

Where Is It?

Hoskins Park is a pleasant neighbourhood park on Pigott and David Streets off Denison Road. Connect to Pigott Street from New Canterbury Road or take Rosedale Street from Old Canter Road.

Buses & Light Rail

The Wattle Mills Light Rail Station is right next door to Hoskins Park while buses like the 428, 444, 445, L28 & N30 all stop along New Canterbury Road, a 5-10 minute walk from the park.

Bike Route

Many of the arterial roads around Dulwich Hill are bicycle friendly.


The best street address is corner of Davis and Victoria Streets Dulwich Hill NSW 2203.


Pigott Street usually bas plenty of street side parking and there is a small parking section off Davis Street near the Light Rail.

Take The Kids To This Awesome Playground

Backed by a terraced garden, Hoskins Park Playground features an impressive amount of play equipment for kids, including swings, slippery dips, slides, balance games, fort climb challenge games and more. There’s soft touch flooring and the raised gardens protect it from the road. All in all, Hoskins Park Playground keeps up with some of the other fantastic playgrounds in the area.


Enjoy A Picnic In The Quiet Surrounds

Nothing quite beats the relaxed quietude of a picnic in a local park. Hoskins Park features a picnic table, park benches, plenty of grass to lay a blanket down and lots of big leafy trees to keep the sun off. There’s no barbecues, but a cold lunch could be just the trick.

    There are bike lockups across the road near the entrance to the Waratah Mills Light Rail.



Johnson Park

Just a couple of streets away, Johnson Park is a feature packed local green space where you will find a basketball court, cricket nets, playground, outdoor gym and covered picnic areas.


J F Laxton Reserve

Running along the southern border of Arlington Reserve, this flat, tree lined park features a fun playground and some picturesque gardens at its western end.
