Ivor Rowe Rockpool

A stone’s throw from Trenerry Reserve¬†and just north of Lurline Bay, Ivor Rowe Rockpool is a naturally forming rock pool accessible from the Coastal Walk through a set of steps that lead down to a rocky plateau jutting out into the Pacific

While swimming in the sea off the rocks is not recommended, the pool is a neat place for a quick dip or to bring a towel and a book. Photographers frequently find their way down there, particularly at dawn, when the rocks around the pool offer unique opportunities to capture waves breaking. Some of the rocks around the pool also reflect a unique mix of colours under the right light.

A couple of bench seats overlook the pool and provide respite from the Coastal Walk. Access via the walk or via Bunya Parade
