Where Is It?

Jellicoe Park is located off Banks Avenue on Park Parade, which is a one way street that circles the park. Take Heffron Road from Bunnerong Road. There are also bus stops along Heffron Road.

Things To Do


This is a pretty unique playground with interesting balance games, ropes courses, slides, swings and a fort climbs, as well as some fun features like a crocodile. Unfortunately there is precious little shade, with the single table and benches the only covered area.

There’s also a separate swing set near the kiosk and amenities block.

Walking Track

The walking track extends around the perimeter of the park and is popular with joggers and dog walkers.

On Leash Dog Walking

Dogs are permitted on leash in the park but not in the playground or near the fields when there are games on. It’s a popular spot most days but there is also an off leash Park nearby called Firmstone Reserve.

  • Food

    During competition matches the kiosknis open with standard sports ground fare. Alternatively head to Bunnerong Road where there are plenty of takeaways and cafes.

  • Rubbish Bins

    There are rubbish bins in the park along with dog tidy bags.

  • Toilets

    There is a toilet block near the kiosk, including change rooms.

  • Can I take my dog?

    Dogs are allowed in the park though they should remain on leash and away from the playground and any sports games that are on. For off leash dog walking try Firmstone Reserve

  • Can I lock my bike up

    While there aren’t any bike lock ups it’s not to difficult to chain a bike to the wooden fencing. Park Parade is a fairly quiet street and makes for some easy riding.

A small off leash dog walking park easily accessible from Jellicoe Park. Look for the sign near the amenities block and kiosk and access via the grass path.
