Getting To Kissing Point Park, Putney

Where Is It?

Kissing Point Park is located on Waterview Street in Putney, with Dyson Street at the eastern end and Douglas Street to the north western. It is adjoined to Bennelong Park, which is the home of the Concord Ryde Sailing Club. Access is from Morrison Road down Charles Street or Delange Road.


The 507 stops right out the front of the park.


The Kissing Point ferry wharf is in Kissing Point Park, providing easy access from the water.

Bike Route

There is a bike path through the park and the back streets around Putney are also amenable to riding.


The best street address is the corner of Charles and Waterfront Streets, Putney NSW 2112


There is dedicated parking at Kissing Point Park and on Yaralla Road.

Things To Do

Enjoy A Barbecue By The Playground

With undercover picnic tables and barbecues at Kissing Point Park, there’s plenty of space for friends and family to stretch out and enjoy a lazy Sunday by the waterfront. The playground is big and bright; featuring slides, swings and climbing fort, while nearby trees provide shade. All in all, it’s a nice local spot for a family event or catching up with friends.

Kids birthday parties and larger gatherings might want to look at nearby Putney Park for a larger venue.

Take Your Boat Out On The Parramatta River

Kissing Point Park boat ramp access at the end of the carpark between the ferry and public wharves. Feel the wind in your hair as you cruise along the river, or consider learning to sail with the Concord Ryde Sailing Club, who meet most Sundays between September and April.

Learn To Ride Your Bike

A shared bike path runs the length of Kissing Point Park along the foreshore. If you want to learn to ride your bike or just have a leisurely cycle by the waterfront there’s no better spot in Putney for a bit of pedal power.

Cast A Line In The Parramatta River

For Northern Suburbs locals the Parramatta River offers an opportunity to reel in a big one. The public wharf makes for a nice spot to kill a morning (or evening) with a reel in hand. Just be sure you have a valid fishing licence and obey the law.
