Getting To Lance Studdert Reserve, Kyeemagh

Where Is It?

Lance Studdert Reserve is a small reserve located on Bestic Street near the corner of Francis Avenue in Kyeemagh. It runs north along the Bestic Street Cycleway towards Kyeemagh Boat Ramp Reserve and Brighton FishO’s Amateur Fishing Association is nearby. Barton Park is also near, and White Oak Reserve is across the road.


The closest bus route is the 379 which stops on Reading Road near the corner of Bestic Street.

Bike Route

The Bestic Street Cycleway passes through the park on the way to Kyeemagh Boat Ramp and connects westward to Eve Street Cycleway.


The best street address is the corner of Francis Avenue and Bestic Street, Kyeemagh NSW 2216


Limited on street parking or park the car at Barton Park nearby.

Things To Do

Take The Kids To Lance Studdert Reserve Playground

The playground is probably the standout feature at Lance Studdert Reserve, spread out along the centre of the park it doesn’t have sun shades but it does sport swings, spring animals, fort climb and a unique play area shaped like a boat, which makes sense when you think about how close it is to the boat ramp. Take A Spin On The Cycleway

Take the Bestic Street Cycleway towards Brighton-Le-Sands and connect to the Cooks Park Cycleway that runs the length of Brighton and Lady Robinsons Beach, or take the opposite route to Eve Street Cycleway that runs through Cahill Park and eventually the Cooks River Cycleway. Both routes are safe, easy going rides that offer unique views of the city.

Relax Under A Shady Tree

Pull up a Park bench and relax with the weekend paper or a good book. Lance Studdert Reserve has a shady, tree lined border with a couple of nice spots to while away the afternoon.

    Dogs are allowed in the park but only on leash and free of the playground.
