Where Is It?

Little Bay is located south of Malabar and north of La Perouse and Botany Bay National Park. Take Anzac Parade south to Pine Avenue.

Access to the beach is via the wooden stairway from the path that weaves near the Prince Henry Centre and through the gold course.

Parking

Little Bay Beach suffers from a dearth of parking. Limited Street side parking is available from Pine and Lister Avenues, as well as Pavilion Drive.
There are car parks at the Coast Golf Club nearby, but these are reserved for golf club members, and parking at the Prince Henry Centre, which is also reserved for guests.

Things To Do


Swimming

Little Bay has two beaches separated by easily traversable rocks. Both side of the Bay have calm waters with low waves. Higher waves generally break outside the mouth of Little Bay.
Little Bay is an unpatrolled beach.

General Hazard Warning

The council advises not swimming in Little Bay 24 hours after a major rains and storms as stormwater from nearby streets might runoff into the beach.

Fishing

The best places to fish are along the rock platforms at either side of the Bay. Always exercise caution when rock fishing and fish with a partner.

Surfing

Surfing is not really an option at Little Bay, with half meter swells and gentle tides. Try Maroubra to the north.

Scuba Diving & Snorkelling

With calm waters and plenty of reefs and rock platforms to explore Little Bay is an exciting place for divers of all ages.

Weddings & Functions

    Little Bay Beach is not patrolled by lifeguards or lifesavers.
