Getting To Lower Cooper Park

Where Is It?

Lower Cooper Park is located west of the Cooper Park Tennis Courts with the Lough Playing Fields in Double Bay on the opposite side. Take Manning Street from New South Head Road or Bathurst Street from Edgecliff Road.


The nearest street address is Suttie Road, Woollahra, 2025. It’s close to Double Bay as well.


There is parking on Bunna Place off Suttie Road.

Things To Do

Off Leash Dog Exercise

Between the hours of 4:30pm and 8:30am this area is designated of leash for dog exercise, and is a good place to take your dog if you live in Woollahra, Double Bay or Bellevue hill. There are bins and dog bags in the park.

Cricket Nets

There are a couple of cricket nets in the Park at the western end of the Park not far from the road. They are free to use.

Picnic Areas & Benches

There are a few shaded benches in the park and plenty of seating in Cooper Park. Make sure you check out the cliff walks as well while you’re there.

Cooper Park Tennis Courts

There are tennis courts nearby at Cooper Park. These are available for hire, and have adjoining facilities including pro shop, cafe and change rooms. Find out more at their Website

    Food and drink it is available freedom the cafe at the tennis courts. Also, Bondi Junction is nearby (though it is an uphill walk).

  • Rubbish Bins

    There are rubbish bins in the park, as well as dog bags for picking up after your pooch.

  • Toilets

    There are toilets at Lough Playing Fields and inside Cooper Park (further past the tennis courts).

  • Can I take my dog?

    Yes. All of Cooper Park is dog friendly (on leash). Lower Cooper Park is off leash dog friendly between 4:30pm and 8:30am.

  • Can I lock my bike up

    There are no bike lock ups but you could chain a bike to a fenced area if needed.
