Where Is It?

Lyne Park is located at the midway point along Rose Bay, on New South Head Road near Kent Road and opposite the Royal Sydney Golf Club. From the city connect to New South Head Road from William Street. From the east connect via Old South Head Road and O’Sullivan Street.

Buses

The 323, 324 and 325 all stop out the front of the Lyne Park.

Ferry

Catch the Ferry to the Rose Bay Terminal, it’s right there in the park!

The closest Street address is the corner of New South Head Road and Vickery Avenue, Rose Bay NSW 2029

Parking

There is a largish car parking area within the park that is accessible from both Vickery Avenue and Sunderland Avenue, and a second carpark accessible from the boat ramp / ferry wharf side as well.

Hit An Ace At Lyne Park Tennis Centre

A handful of synthetic tennis courts with floodlights, available for hire through the Lyne Park Tennis Centre. A game of doubles down by the harbour. It doesn’t get much better than this. Take The Kids To Lyne Park Playground

Located between the Woollahra Sailing Club & Seaplane Wharf, Lyne Park playground boasts some incredibly fun play equipment, including a giant seesaw, climbing ship, flying fox, sand pit and plenty of climbs and slides. Located close to the water, is fully fenced but allows kids (and parents) to watch the seaplanes take off, which is worth the price of admission alone! (Note: No actual admission free).

Take Flight On A Seaplane

Watch the Seaplanes take off from the harbour or book a flight of your own. Seaplane tours take off from Lyne Park and can take you over the harbour with great views of the city. There’s a variety of packages so check them out at their website: Sydney Seaplanes.

Go Fishing In The Harbour At Rose Bay Wharf

Bring a rod and reel and go fishing off the pier near the ferry wharf and boat ramp. Expect squid and yakka, as well as kingfish and the occasional flathead. There’s no cleaning station so bring your gear.

Need to get your rig into the harbour? There’s a boat ramp at Lyne Park, just take the westernmost entrance (near the wrought iron gates and memorial, look for signs). It’s close to the Rose Bay Ferry Wharf and Catalina harbourside restaurant, and there’s plenty of space to turn your vehicle around.
