Where Is It?

Marrickville Park is located on Frazer Street between Livingstone Road and Pile Street in Marrickville. Connect to Frazer Street from New Canterbury Road, Addison Road and Marrickville Road.

Buses

The 412 and 428 both stop on Frazer Street right outside the park.

Bike Route

Addison Road is bike friendly and connects to Frazer Street near Marrickville Park. Alternatively, connect from the Cooks River Cycleway.

Address

The best street address is corner Livingstone Road and Frazer Street in Marrickville, NSW 2204.

There is streetside parking around the park, particularly on Livingstone Road.

Practice Your Pace Ball At The Cricket Nets

Marrickville Cricket Club practices over the large Cricket oval, where you’ll find two nets at the North end. The oval doubles as a footy field, and there’s a kiosk and change room facilities at the south end near the tennis club. Run by Marrickville District Lawn Tennis Club, you’ll need be a member or member’s guest to take advantage of the beautiful lawn courts (and the bar), but there’s also 4 clay courts and 2 floodlit synthetic courts for hire to non-members. Fancy A Spot of Croquet?

Not your usual weekend endeavour, the Marrickville Croquet Club hosts weekend games catering to all ages on a neat field tucked away in the northwest side of the park. The croquet court is in good condition, located in a pleasant corner of the park.

Get Fit On The New Gym Equipment

Located adjacent to the tennis courts, Marrickville Park’s new outdoor gym facilities provide some much needed equipment in a semi shaded area. Equipment is free to use and will be available from late 2016 on.

Take The Kids To The Playground

New to the redeveloped eastern section of Marrickville Park, the playground is an exciting addition with plenty to keep the kids entertained and occupied.
