Getting To North Ryde Oval

Where Is It?

North Ryde Oval is located between Cressy Road and Magdala Road off Pittwater Road in North Ryde. It is shielded by a high tree line making it not immediately visible. Connect to Pittwater Road from Epping Road to the north and Victoria Road to the south.


A number of buses stop on Blenheim Road near the oval, including the 286, 287, 288 and 297.

Bike Route

There’s a little shared walkway through the park and the backstreets are pretty safe to ride a bike around.


The best street address is the corner of Cressy Road and Magdala Road, North Ryde NSW 2113


There is a small amount of dedicated parking on Cressy Road and street side parking on Magdala Road.

Things To Do

Weekend Soccer Is Happening All Season Long

If you fancy yourself the next Tim Cahill you might want to check out the local soccer comp at North Ryde Soccer. Seasons run through the winter and there’s another field nearby at Magdala Park. Contact the club through their website if you’re interested in signing up. Alternatively, just head down there on a weekend afternoon and kick the ball around with a few friends.

Keep The Kids Entertained At The North Ryde Oval Playground

Modern and colourful, the playground at North Ryde Oval features slides, climbing frames, swings, sunshades and soft touch flooring. Plenty of space for kids to play and a few seats for parents to sit on while they supervise.

Enjoy A Picnic & Barbecue

Close to the playground, tucked away in the south western corner of the park you’ll find an undercover picnic area with tables and barbecues. It makes for a top little spot for a post match lunch and the barbecues are free to use at all times.

    There is an open kiosk at the oval on game days and barbecues and picnic areas at the oval as well.

  • Rubbish Bins

    There are bins at North Ryde Oval. Dispose of your rubbish thoughtfully.

  • Toilets

    There’s​ toilets at the oval and change rooms in the clubhouse.

  • Can I take my dog?

    Dogs are welcome on the outside of the oval. They should be kept on leash and clear of the playground and sports field.

  • Can I lock my bike up?

    You’ll find wooden fencing around the field where you can lock up a bike.


Magdala Park | North Ryde

Located on the opposite side of Pittwater Road, this creek side park features both soccer fields and baseball diamonds as well as a playground, clubhouse and access to bush walking.

Blenheim Park | North Ryde

Terraced park space with playgrounds, basketball court and picnic areas, designed with a unique, twisting walk / bike path. It’s popular on weekends and a great spot for a family get together.
