Recently upgraded, the Alby Smith Playground is the key feature at this narrow park, featuring swings, slides and a flying fox all protected by sunshades. Coogee Community Garden is just down the road as well. Not dog friendly.

Baker Park is a well known green space on the Randwick and Coogee border that features off leash dog zones, tennis courts, a children’s playground and cricket pitch.

Bangor Park

Off leash dog friendly, Bangor Park also boasts a modern, fully fenced children’s playground, picnic benches and a sloping green space for informal ball games.

Bardon Park Coogee Dog Walking Park

Located across the road from the Coogee bowling club and tennis courts, the park is used mainly for off leash dog exercise, and includes dog tidy bag dispensers on site. In the winter the Coogee Dolphins Junior Rugby League Club also trains at this field.

PIcturesque Dunningham Reserve is located on the high northern headland of Coogee Beach and features shady picnic areas, sculpture and memorials. It is a favourite photography point along the Bondi To Coogee Walk.

Running off the back of Coogee Beach, Goldstein Reserve is a great spot to escape the head with shade and picnic areas scattered across its length. It’s close to shops and public transport too. You’re also allowed to have a drink in the park between 8am and 6pm.

Fantastic Grant Reserve has stunning views on the ocean, barbecues and picnic tables and a large, unique children’s playground. It’s also close to Wylie and McIvers Baths.

An underdeveloped public space between Grant and Trenerry Reserves with zero features but a nice view of the coast and Wedding Cake Island.

Dog friendly and with outstanding views of the coast, Trennery Reserve is part of the Coastal Walkway. The flat expanse of grass is great for a kick but you might want to bring a spare ball so it doesn’t end up in the ocean.
