Blackwattle Bay Park

Expansive foreshore park along Blackwattle Bay featuring bike tracks, Glebe Foreshore Walk, picturesque picnic areas with barbecue facilities, a playground and off leash dog walking areas. Set against the backdrop of the Anzac Bridge, you’ll also discover historic buildings and find plenty of shady trees to escape the sunshine and catch up with a good book.

Federal Park

Floodlit sports fields including hockey, football and other sports. THere’s also off leash dog walking areas and a skate park. Federal Park joins up with the rest of Bicentennial Park along Rose Bay, offering plenty of facilities against an iconic backdrop, and you will find Jubilee Oval nearby as well. Parking on site, and close to Jubilee Park Light Rail.

Jubilee Oval

WIth access via Jubilee Park Light Rail and set against the beautiful backdrop of Bicentennial Park and Rozelle Bay, Jubilee Oval is an historic cricket oval and pavilion that also hosts AFL and hockey. There’s a playground nearby and dogs are welcome on leash. There are off leash areas around Bicentennial Park, as well as picnic facilities.

Dr H J Foley Rest Park

Located on Glebe’s main strip, this park features gardens, walking paths, shady trees, a playground and memorial. Play equipment presents unique challenges to kids with giant swings, climbing frames and balance exercises. A sun shade to keep everyone cool. Foley Rest Park is also close to plenty of cafes and takeaways on Glebe Point Road.

John Street Reserve

Small suburban village green featuring native gardens, park benches and as well as memorials and relics from the area’s industrial past. A broom factory once stood in it’s place. You might find animals like lizards and blue wrens larking about, and it’s a pleasant spot to take a book or just enjoy the sunshine on a Spring day.
