Getting To Parsley Bay Beach, Vaucluse

Where Is It?

Parsley Bay Beach is located in Parsley Bay and is best accessed by taking Hopetoun Avenue to Fitzwilliam Road, Parsley Road and Horler Avenue. There’s also footpath access from The Crescent, and the Parsley Bay Bridge is accessible from Fitzwilliam Road.


The 325 stops on Fitzwilliam Road, only a short distance to the beach.


You can catch a ferry to Watsons Bay Wharf, with Parsley Bay Beach only a picturesque 15 minute walk or so away.


The best street address is Horler Avenue, Vaucluse NSW 2030


There is a small parking bay section on Horler Avenue at Parsley Bay Reserve. The parking closes at sunset.

Things To Do

Swimming In The Bay

While it’s true that not that long ago Parsley Bay had some issues with the swimming enclosure, nowadays it’s a clean, flat and incredibly beautiful place to swim. With the high headlands to either side and a that wonderful bridge (not to mention the waterfall) it’s a little bit like your own private island getaway, just ten minutes from the city…

    Dogs are not allowed in the beach.

  • Can I lock my bike up?

    Dogs aren’t allowed in the park under any circumstances.
