Where Is It?

Shark Beach faces north into Sydney harbour and is located behind Nielsen Park in Vaucluse. Take Vaucluse Road to Greycliffe Avenue.

Parking

There is parking on Greycliffe Avenue near Nielsen Park, however it can get full pretty quick. There is limited street side parking around Coolong Road.

Things To Do


Swimming

Protected by nets, you won’t have to worry about this beaches namesake. Shark Beach faces the harbour, so waves are infrequent and low. You could even try a bit of snorkelling

Hermitage Foreshore Walk

The foreshore walk starts at Nielsen Park and takes in some of Sydney’s smallest beaches, with historic buildings and views towards the harbour all part of the fun.
