Where Is It?

Located between Francis Street and Hogan Street in Bondi, Thomas Hogan Reserve is a wooded gully that is best accessed from Old South Head Road by turning onto O’Brien Street & then Simpson Street or from Bondi Road by turning onto Ocean Street. Note: Francis Street is only accessible from Old South Head Road by footpath.


The 389 buses travel along O’Brien Street and Old South Head Road.

Things To Do


The playground is close to Francis Street and features swings, fort climb and games near some shaded benches. Shade is provided by trees and the playground is not fenced.

Picnic Areas

There are a couple of shaded benches and tables dotted around the park. The leafy greens and generally quiet atmosphere make it a nice place to bring a picnic lunch.
