Getting To Wattlebird Bushland Reserve, South Caringbah

Where Is It?

Wattlebird Bushland Reserve is a small nature reserve in suburban South Caringbah between Rawson Parade and Saunders Bay Road, with accessible tracks from both sides. The trails are slightly overgrown in some places, and though it’s only a short walk of a few minutes, you’ll want to wear good shoes and socks.


The 978 stops on Saunders Bay Road.


The best street address is corner of Parthenia Street and Saunders Bay Road, Caringbah South NSW 2229.


Limited to on Street parking, though you shouldn’t really have a problem finding a spot.

Things To Do

Explore The Nature Reserve

Wander this small natural landscape as birds flit from tree to tree, their songs drowning out the sound of cars from the nearby roads. It’s a fun little bush track, just keep an eye out for spiders! Looking for another easy bush walk nearby? Try either Burraneer Park or the Lilli Pilli Track.
