Where Is It?

Located along Whites Creek in the idyllic suburban backstreets of Annandale, Whites Creek Valley Park is South of Cohen Park between White Street and Smith Street, With Piper Street along the northern border.

It is accessible from the shared bike / footpath from White Creek Lane that runs beneath Booth Street / Moore Street.

Buses / Light Rail

The 470 bus stops on Catherine Street near Piper Street or take the Light Rail to either Rozelle Bay or Lilyfield Light Rail Stations.

Bike Route

Shared bike / walking track from Whites Lane. The streets around Lilyfield and Annandale address usually quiet and bike friendly, if you don’t mind the occasional hill.


The best street address is corner of White Street & Piper Street, Annandale NSW 2038.

You probably won’t find a better sport for a picnic with family and friends. Surrounded by leafy trees, character filled terrace houses and the gently bubbling creek, there’s plenty of room to spread out at Whites Creek Valley Park, along with picnic tables and barbecue facilities to keep the whole crowd fed.

There’s A Skate Park & Basketball Court

Practice your jump shot, or strap on your rollerblades and make use of the skate ramp. Both facilities are set between the picnic area and playground in a central part of the park, Modern design means they’re in good condition, and the quiet setting almost guarantees space most times of the week.


And You Can Learn All About Local Flora & Fauna

Walking along the Bone Boilers Path you’ll find instructional placards detailing the natural history and relationships between animals and plants in this serene natural setting.

Just north of Whites Creek Valley Park along the Bone Boilers Walk, Whites Valley Creek continues the trend of idyllic park space with modern facilities. Here you’ll find sports fields, cricket pitch, modern tennis courts and a playground.


War Memorial Park

Village green on the border of Leichhardt, War Memorial Park features a modern playground, large fig trees and plenty of space to stretch out.
