Wynyard Park is located between York Street and Carrington Street in Sydney. It is easily accessible from Wynyard Station and also from the myriad of buses that stop at the exchange on Carrington Street.

Wynyard Park Statue Sydney 2000

John Dunmore Lang Statue

The large bronze statue in Wynyard Park was installed in 1891, unveiled on the 25th of January. Lang was the founder of the Presbyterian Church in Australia. He also worked in publishing and had a career in politics. In particular, he was instrumental in relocating thousands of Scottish Highlanders to Sydney.
